Henderson Global Investors (North America) Inc. ("Henderson") is the US subsidiary of Henderson Global Investors, a London-based global investment management firm established in 1934. With US$124.7bn in assets under management as of 31 December 2016, offices in 16 countries and around 1000 employees worldwide, Henderson Global Investors follows a client-led philosophy while providing its clients with access to skilled investment professionals representing a broad range of asset classes.

Since 2001, Henderson has been offering US investors the opportunity to "own a piece of the world" through its family of globally focused mutual funds. Henderson follows a differentiated, opportunistic investment philosophy combining local knowledge with worldwide reach.

Alex Crooke
Alex joined Henderson Global Investors in 1994 as an Associate Director of Investment Trusts after starting his investment career as a US investment analyst with Equitable Life Assurance Society in 1990. In 1994 he was recruited by Henderson as a Fund Manager responsible for a number of UK and European investments. He was named Director of UK Investment Trust in 2001 and has managed several funds during his 26 plus years at Henderson. He currently serves as the Co-Manager of the Henderson Global Equity Income Fund and lead Portfolio Manager of the Henderson Dividend & Income Builder. In 2013 he was appointed Head of Global Equity Income, bringing together all the equity focused income teams within Henderson. Alex graduated with honors from Manchester University with a bachelor's degree in Astrophysics and is an Associate Member of the Society of Investment Professionals.
Andrew Gillan
Andrew Gillan joined Henderson in early 2014. He is the Portfolio Manager of the Asia Pacific sub-portfolio of the Henderson International Opportunities Fund. Andrew has more than 16 years of experience in the investment industry. He joined Henderson from Aberdeen Asset Management where he managed a number of mutual funds for 14 years. Andrew graduated with honors from the University of Edinburgh.
Ben Lofthouse
Ben is a member of the Henderson Global Equity Income Team, which manages over £3bn under various equity income mandates. Ben has managed the team’s Global Equity Income OIEC with Andrew Jones since May 2012, and has managed the Henderson International Income Trust plc since its launch in April 2011. In addition to fund management duties, Ben covers the Support Services and Food & Beverages sectors for Henderson’s Equity Department. Ben is also deputy fund manager on Lowland Investment Company. He joined Henderson Global Investors in 2004 as an Investment Analyst and Assistant Fund Manager having previously trained as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Banking and Capital Markets division. He also worked in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Business Recovery Services team. Ben graduated from Exeter University with a BA (Hons) in Business Economics. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Derek J. Pawlak
Derek J. Pawlak is a Portfolio Manager at Henderson Geneva Capital Management. He joined Geneva in 2007, which was later acquired by Henderson Global Investors in October 2014. He is a member of the Investment Strategy Group that conducts high quality fundamental research and is responsible for the management and oversight of the Henderson Geneva growth equity products. Before joining Geneva, Mr Pawlak worked for Ziegler Capital Management, LLC. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin where he earned his BBA and Carroll College where he earned his BS. He later graduated from Marquette University where he earned his MBA.
Glen Finegan
Glen Finegan joined Henderson in 2015 as Head of Emerging Markets Equities. He is the Portfolio Manager of the Emerging Markets Fund and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Emerging Markets sub-portfolio of the International Opportunities Fund. Most recently, Glen was a senior portfolio manager at First State Stewart (formerly First State Investments) covering global emerging market all capitalization equity strategies where he managed a total of $13bn. While at First State, Glen was based in Edinburgh between 2001 and 2011, and in October 2011 he relocated to Singapore. Before joining First State Stewart in 2001, Glen spent three years working as a geophysicist within the oil and gas industry. Glen has both an MSc in Oceanography and a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Southampton.
Graeme Clark
Graeme Clark, Portfolio Manager, joined Henderson Global Investors in 2013. He is Co-Portfolio of the Henderson Global Technology Fund. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial industry. In 1994 Graeme began his career at Ernst & Young as an Audit Senior. He later held the position of Senior Analyst covering European Software and IT Services for ING and Jefferies. Graeme graduated with honors from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Accountancy and Business. He has a CFA UK Level 4 Certificate in Investment Management and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland.
Ian Warmerdam
Ian Warmerdam is Director of Henderson Global Growth Equities. He and his team manage global growth funds and growth sleeves of larger global equity portfolios. He has been a Director at Henderson since 2007. Ian joined Henderson in 2001 and has 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Henderson he worked at both Scottish Widows and Scottish Life where his career began as a US equities investment analyst. Ian has an MSc in investment analysis from the University of Stirling and a BSc in Technology and Business Studies from the University of Strathclyde. He is also an Associate Member of the Society of Investment Professionals (ASIP).
Jenna Barnard
Jenna joined Henderson Global Investors in 2002 as Credit Analyst, and progressed to Credit Portfolio Manager in 2004. Jenna is Co-Head of Strategic Fixed Income, co-managing a number of funds including the Strategic Income Fund and Dividend & Income Builder Fund. Prior to joining Henderson, Jenna worked as an Investment Analyst with Orbitex Investments. Jenna graduated with honors from Oxford University with a degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics. She is a CFA charterholder, a member of the Society of Technical Analysts and an Affiliate Member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals.
Job Curtis
Job joined Henderson Global Investors in 1992 following Henderson’s acquisition of Touche Remnant. Prior to joining Henderson, he was an assistant fund manager at Cornhill Insurance. Job has managed several funds during his 24 plus years at Henderson and currently co-manages the Henderson Global Equity Income Fund and Dividend & Income Builder Fund. Job has an master's degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and is an Associate Member of the Society of Investment Professionals.
John Pattullo
John joined Henderson Global Investors in 1997 and is Co-Head of Strategic Fixed Income. He co-manages the Strategic Income Fund and Dividend & Income Builder Fund alongside Jenna Barnard. John previously spent four years as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. John graduated with honors from the University of St Andrews with a master's degree in Economics, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and an Associate Member of the Society of Investment Professionals.
Kevin Loome
Kevin Loome joined Henderson Global Investors in 2013 as Head of US Credit, and in early 2013 launched the Henderson High Yield Opportunities Fund. His career began at Morgan Stanley before moving to T. Rowe Price as an analyst and fund manager. Prior to joining Henderson, Kevin worked at Delaware Investments as Head of High Yield Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager. Kevin received a bachelor's in Business Administration from University of Virginia and received his MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Dartmouth College.
Michael Cahoon, CFA
Michael Cahoon is a Portfolio Manager for the Emerging Markets Fund. He began his career in the investment industry in 2011 and is based in Edinburgh. Prior to joining Henderson in 2015, Mr Cahoon was an analyst at emerging markets specialist asset manager, Ashmore Group. While there he served as a member of the Frontier markets team covering Africa, global metals and mining. Mr Cahoon graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance and Operations Management with a dual concentration in Legal Studies.
Michelle J. Picard
Michelle J. Picard, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Henderson Geneva Capital Management. She joined Geneva in 1999, which was later acquired by Henderson Global Investors in October 2014. She is a member of its Investment Strategy Group that conducts high quality fundamental research and is responsible for the management and oversight of the Henderson Geneva growth equity products. Before joining Geneva, Ms Picard worked for Strong Capital Management. Ms Picard graduated from the University of Wisconsin.
Neil Hermon
Neil Hermon manages the UK sub-portfolio of the Henderson International Long/Short Equity Fund, is the Co-Head of UK Equities and manages the UK Smaller Companies Fund and Henderson Smaller Companies Investment Trust. Neil has more than 27 years of experience in the investment industry. Pror to Henderson, Neil served as Head of UK Smaller Companies for General Accident Investment Management. He continued this role when he joined Henderson in 2002. He began his career at Ernst & Young as a Chartered Accountant. Neil graduated with honors from Cambridge University with a degree in Mathematics. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (CA) and an Associate Member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals (UKSIP).
Nicholas Cowley
Nick joined Henderson Global Investors in 2004 as a Fund Manager for North American Active Equities. He is now Co-Portfolio Manager of the Emerging Markets sub-portfolio of the International Opportunities Fund. His career began at Chiswell Associates as a Trainee Fund Manager for Overseas Equities before progressing to become a Fund Manager for US Equities. Nick graduated from Brunel University with a Master's in Business Finance and graduated with honors from York University with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He also holds the Institute of Investment Management & Research qualification.
Paul O'Connor
Paul joined the Multi-Asset team in 2013 from Mercer, where he was Head of Asset Allocation (EMEA), responsible for asset allocation across all client portfolios in the region. He joined Henderson to focus on asset allocation in the Multi-Asset team, with a particular focus on diversified growth funds. He is the co-manager of the All Asset Fund. Paul holds an honors degree in Economics and a master's degree from the London School of Economics.
Ronan Kelleher
Ronan Kelleher joined Henderson Global Investors in 2011, initially working as a fund manager assistant before becoming and investment analyst in 2012 and then a fund manager in 2015. He is now Co-Portfolio Manager of the Global Growth sub-portfolio of the International Opportunities Fund. Based in Edinburgh, he has six years of investment management industry experience. Ronan holds a Master's in Finance and Investment from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor's (Hons) in Finance from University of College Cork in Ireland. Ronan is a CFA charterholder and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
Sat Duhra
Sat joined Henderson Global investors in 2011 as an analyst to the Pan-Asia Equity team. Sat has 8 years industry experience. Prior to joining Henderson, Sat previously held analyst positions at GE Capital, Nomura and Credit Suisse. Sat has a BSc in Economics from University College, London.
Stephen Peak
Stephen Peak joined Henderson Global Investors in 1992 from Norwich Union where he began his investment management career in 1975, followed by ADIG Investment in Frankfurt and then Cornhill Insurance Group. He joined Touche Remnant & Co in 1986 and became Director and Head of the Investment Department and Head of the Continental European Team. Following the acquisition of Touche Remnant in 1992, he joined Henderson as a Director and was appointed a Director of ‘Henderson plc’ in 1996. Stephen is the lead Portfolio Manager for the International Opportunities Fund and European Focus Fund. He also manages the European sub-portfolio of the International Opportunities Fund. He has more than 41 years of experience in investment management and research.
Steve Johnstone
Steve joined Henderson in 2011 as part of the Gartmore acquisition, and co-manages a global equity long/short strategy, as well as managing the Henderson Gartmore Global Equity Market Neutral Fund. Prior to Henderson, he worked with the Quantitative Investment Team at Gartmore focussing on their market neutral long/short equity funds, and later with the Investment Risk Team. He joined Gartmore in 2000. Prior to this, Steve worked at Merrill Lynch, Panmure Gordon, Industrial Bank of Japan and Baring Asset Management. Steve is a CFA charter holder.
Stuart O'Gorman
Stuart was appointed Director of Technology Investment when he joined Henderson in 2001 and has 20 years' industry experience. Prior to joining Henderson, Stuart worked as a specialist technology manager at Scottish Equitable Asset Management (now known as Aegon UK). He holds a Masters degree in Financial Economics and a Diploma in Investment Analysis from the University of Dundee and University of Stirling respectively.
Tim Stevenson
Tim Stevenson is Director of European Equities as Henderson and has over 33 years’ investment experience. Tim’s career in the investment industry began in 1983, as a European Analyst at Savory Milln. In 1984 he teamed up with Aetna Montagu Asset Management Limited and was responsible for European Investments for ERISA clients and MIM Pension Funds. He joined Henderson in 1986 as a Fund Manager for Europe, with responsibility for overseas clients. Tim graduated from Sussex University with a BA (Hons) in Economics and European Studies.
W. Scott Priebe
W. Scott Priebe serves as Portfolio Manager at Henderson Geneva Capital Management. He joined Geneva in 2004, which was later acquired by Henderson Global Investors in October 2014. He is a member of the Investment Strategy Group that conducts high quality fundamental research and is responsible for the management and oversight of the Henderson Geneva growth equity products. Before joining Geneva, Mr Priebe worked for Eli Lilly & Company. Mr Priebe graduated from DePauw University and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago.
