Harmesh Suniara

Harmesh joined Henderson in 2011 as Investment Manager, UK Smaller Companies. Prior to that, Harmesh worked for Gartmore since May 2007 as an Investment Analyst on the UK Smaller Companies team, later becoming an Investment Manager co-managing the Gartmore (now Henderson) Fledgling Investment Trust. His background consists of 11 years experience as a sell-side research analyst working in the UK Small and Mid Cap sectors. He also gained market experience trading derivatives on LIFFE. In 1996, Harmesh joined Williams de Broe plc as Equities Analyst. In 2004, he was appointed by KBC Peel Hunt where he covered a number of different sectors and also spent time working in Corporate Finance. Harmesh has been developing his quantitative maths skills and graduated from University of Cambridge in 1993 having read Physics & Theoretical Physics.

Adam McConkey

Adam joined Henderson in 2011 as Director of UK Smaller Companies after more than a decade at Gartmore. Adam was appointed Head of the Gartmore UK Smaller Companies Team in 2010 with responsibility for all UK Small Cap Retail, Investment Trusts and Institutional mandates. Since 2006 Adam has co-Managed the AlphaGen Volantis and UK Best Ideas hedge funds with Rob Giles. Adam also co-Managed Gartmore SICAV Pan European Smaller Companies fund since 2003. Adam has over 12 years industry experience. He has a PhD in International Relations, and is a HOLT CFR0I specialist with a particular interest in behavioural finance.
