How to invest

Our How to invest section is designed to help you invest in a Henderson or New Star fund.

Until full administration integration is completed the existing fund names will be retained and the funds will continue to be administered separately.

To make an investment simply complete the appropriate application form for Henderson or New Star funds and return to the address stated on the application form. Please read the simplified prospectus before making an investment.

Henderson Global Investors

Henderson Investment Funds

Investments into Henderson OEIC funds can be made via:

  • Direct Investment
  • ISA Investment
  • ISA Transfer

The minimum lump sum investment for both direct and ISA investments is £1,000 per fund. The minimum monthly investment is £50 per month, with the exception of the Global Care fund range, which is £25 per month.

Henderson Multi-Manager Funds

Investments into Henderson Multi-Manager funds can be made via:

  • Direct lump sum or regular saving investment
  • ISA Investment
  • ISA Transfer

The minimum lump sum investment for both direct and ISA investments is £1,000. The minimum regular saving or regular saving ISA investment is £100.

Henderson Offshore Funds

The minimum initial investment is US$2,500 (or other foreign currency equivalent) per fund. Subsequent subscriptions can be made whenever you wish, subject to a minimum of US$500 per fund.

Henderson Cash Fund

Investments into the Henderson Cash Fund can only be made via direct investment.

The minimum lump sum investment is £1,000. Regular monthly investments are not allowed.

New Star

New Star Investment Funds

Investments into New Star OEIC and Unit Trust Funds can be made via:

  • Direct Investment
  • ISA Investment
  • ISA Transfer

The minimum lump sum investment for direct and ISA investments is £1,000 per fund. There is no maximum limit for lump sum investors, unless it is an ISA investment in the current tax year. The minimum regular savings limit is £100 per month, which can be split between two funds (minimum £50 per New Star fund). Regular savings are not available for investments in the New Star Select Opportunities Fund.

New Star Multi-Manager Funds

Investments into New Star Multi-Manager funds can be made via:

  • Direct lump sum or regular saving investment
  • ISA Investment
  • ISA Transfer

The minimum lump sum investment for direct and ISA investments is £1,000 per fund. There is no maximum limit for lump sum investors, unless it is an ISA investment in the current tax year. The minimum regular savings limit is £100 per month, which can be split between two funds (minimum £50 per New Star fund).

New Star Indian Equity Fund

Please ensure you have read the prospectus before making an investment.

As the investment manager of the New Star Indian Equity Fund, New Star has appointed Tata Asset Management (Mauritius) Private Limited as the sub-investment manager to the fund. Tata Asset Management (Mauritius) Private Limited is a 100% owned subsidiary of Tata Asset Management Limited, part of the Tata Group.
