In April 2011 Henderson Global Investors acquired the Gartmore Group and with it their highly respected AlphaGen hedge fund business. Both Henderson and Gartmore have long and distinguished histories of managing hedge funds spanning over 10 years each.
Henderson AlphaGen is the name for the combined hedge fund business. We manage a diverse range of strategies focusing primarily on equity long-short and classic hedge (Macro, Credit and Agriculture) with an emphasis on liquidity. We continue to pursue strong, risk adjusted returns for our clients through fundamental research and disciplined risk management.
