Henderson launches the Henderson Horizon Global Natural Resources Fund

Henderson Global Investors has today added to its Horizon range with the launch of the Henderson Horizon Global Natural Resources Fund. The Luxembourg domiciled SICAV will be sub-advised by Australian based fund management group, 90 West. Henderson acquired an initial 32.3% shareholding in May 2013 and increased the holding to 42.4% in May 2014. Executive Chairman, David Whitten, will be lead fund manager.

Henderson Global Investors (“Henderson”, “the Group”) has entered into an agreement to acquire the entire issued share capital of Geneva Capital Management (“Geneva”). Founded in 1987, Geneva has assets under management (“AUM”) of US$6.3bn¹ in Mid- and Small-Cap US growth equities.

The Henderson Horizon Euro Corporate Bond Fund has reached €2 billion in assets under management. Managed by Stephen Thariyan and Chris Bullock, the Fund has returned 42.3%* outperforming the iBOXX Euro Corporates Index by 15.4% since its inception in December 2009.
