I started working at Henderson about a year ago now, during which I’ve sat 2 exams and worked in 3 different departments, so it’s fair to say it has been a fairly steep learning curve. Being on the grad scheme you do get thrown in the deep-end to some extent, but this is what makes it rewarding, and the combination of on-the-job and exam-based learning means you get a broad introduction to the industry before moving to the fund management floor.
