Where is Henderson’s Graduate Programme based?
All Graduate positions will be based in our London office at 201 Bishopsgate. As we are a global company, there may be opportunities during the two-year rotational training programme to work in some of our offices overseas.
What are the basic requirements to apply for Henderson’s Graduate Programme and do I need to have a specific degree discipline?
We require applicants to have a 2:1 classification at degree level in any degree discipline.
Do I need to have a postgraduate qualification to apply?
Candidates do not need to have a postgraduate qualification.
How can I apply to Henderson’s Graduate Programme?
To apply to our Graduate Programme use the 'apply here' link on our website and this will take you to our application form. You need to fill in the standard application form and attach your CV. When you press 'submit' your application will be sent directly to us.
Do I have to complete the application form all at once?
You do not need to complete the application form all at once; you can save your work and go back to it at a later date by logging back in. Make sure you regularly save your application form to avoid losing your work.
What is the recruitment process for Henderson’s Graduate Programme?
The recruitment process requires candidates to initially fill in an application form. Candidates successful at this first stage will then be invited to take a series of online assessments. Candidates are required to pass each assessment before being asked to take the next one. Following the assessments your overall scores will be considered and you may be invited for a telephone interview. Following the telephone interview, successful candidates will be invited to attend an assessment centre day at our London office. Successful candidates will be invited a final stage interview with a member of the senior management team. Those candidates successful at this final stage will be offered a place on our Graduate Programme.
When are the assessment centre days?
The assessment days will be on 18 and 19 January 2011. Candidates will be expected to attend one of these days.
What will I have to do at the assessment centre?
We will notify candidates who are invited to an assessment centre of the details nearer the time.
How can I find out about the progress of my application?
You can find out about the status of your application by logging into the application system. Any changes to your status will appear here. You will also receive emails from us when the status of your application changes.
Will I be sponsored to complete any professional qualifications?
We will sponsor all candidates to take professional qualifications.
What benefits will I receive in addition to my salary?
The benefits you will receive as a Henderson employee include 25 days holiday per annum, a discretionary bonus, a non-contributory pension scheme of 10.5%, medical insurance, lunch allowance of £15 per week to spend in our staff restaurant and the opportunity to participate in various share schemes the company offers.
When will I start work at Henderson if I am offered a place on the Graduate Programme?
We intend the Graduate Programme will commence in September 2011.
